Premier League club reportedly eyeing summer move for Xavi Hernandez

Former Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez could be set for a return to the dugout, with reports indicating that a Premier League club is considering an approach this summer.

Since his departure from Barcelona last year, Xavi has been linked with multiple managerial roles.

Manchester United was previously mentioned as a potential destination should Ruben Amorim leave.

However, according to Relevo, an unnamed Premier League club has now entered the race for his services.

Negotiations between Xavi’s representatives and the mystery club have reportedly begun, with more developments expected as the season progresses.

Despite a turbulent end to his Barcelona tenure, Xavi won the La Liga in 2022/23 and securing the Spanish Super Cup with a 3-1 win over Real Madrid.

Before that, he impressed in Qatar with Al-Sadd, where he enjoyed a successful spell before returning to Catalonia in November 2021.
