Portable rants as he gives reason why he didn’t perform at Tinubu’s pre-inaguruation concert (Video)
Controversial street-hop singer, Habeeb Okikiola a.k.a Portable angrily breaks silence as he explains why he didn’t perform at Tinubu’s pre-inaguruation concert.
It was earlier reported that the presidential-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu held a concert in commemoration of his forthcoming tenure as president of Nigeria.
It was gathered that over 40 artists had been contracted to perform at the event which held in M.K. Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
The Zazoo crooner had been noticably absent among the list of performers and this had raised questions, especially since the singer had once campaigned for the APC.
Reacting to these questions, Portable reminded inquirers that he had been the one who sang a campaign song for the politician.
He explained that the reason he didn’t perform was because artists were being paid 10 million naira for the performance but he was being offered five, which made him tear the contract sheet.
Portable also lambasted artists who he says never supported Tinubu but are rushing to sing his praises now he’s about to be president.
