Pele’s daughter pens emotional tribute to him

Kely Nascimento, Brazilian football legend Pele’s daughter has taken to Instagram to pen down an emotional tribute to him.

It was reported earlier that Pele who is a three-time World Cup winner died at the age of 82 on Thursday evening, after a long battle with colon cancer.

Family members had gathered at the Albert Einstein Israelita Hospital in Sao Paulo shortly before Christmas after news that his colon cancer had worsened and posted a series of pictures of their bedside vigil over recent days.

Penning down a tribute to him on Instagram, Kely wrote;

“Everything we are is thanks to you. We love you infinitely. Rest in peace.”
