Pastor who claimed he could cure Covid-19, dies of the virus
A Cameroonian pastor who laid his hands on dozens of confirmed and suspected coronavirus sufferers, has died of the illness on Saturday.
Frankline Ndifor, 39, claimed he cured Covid-19 after sufferers flocked his church, Kingship International Ministries, where he laid hands on them and prayed for their healing, reported Voice of America News.
However, less than a week after being diagnosed with COVID-19, he died and has since been buried in front of his residence by workers of Cameroon’s COVID-19 response team in Douala.
Ndifor came 7th out of nine candidates in 2018’s presidential election, with 23,687 votes in Cameroon.
