Osimhen makes it 19 goals for Galatasaray with brace against Rizespor

Victor Osimhen takes his season tally to 19 goals after bagging brace in Galatasaray’s 2-1 win over Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Nigerian forward opened the scoring in the 47th minute, heading in a Przemyslaw Frankowski cross.

However, Rizespor equalized seven minutes later through Ali Sowe, who capitalized on a defensive lapse.

Osimhen then scored the winning goal in the 86th minute, reacting quickly after a corner to fire home off the post.

Despite late pressure from Rizespor, Fernando Muslera made key saves to preserve Galatasaray’s lead.
