Original WAEC certificate spotted being used to sell suya goes viral
An original West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate belonging to Oweisana Braduce has captured the attention of many social media users after being used to wrap and sell suya.
The surprising image was shared on Twitter by user Alakowee, leading to widespread discussion and speculation.
The certificate, which indicates that Braduce took the West African School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in June 2011, was issued by Obotebe Secondary School in Burutu, Delta State.
The certificate reveals that Braduce was born on February 26, 1991, and registered for eight subjects.
Braduce’s result, which was used to wrap suya, showed him having distinction (A1) in Economics, B3 in Commerce, and B2 in Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK).
Additionally, Braduce obtained C4 in Government, D7 in Literature in English, and C4 in English Language. In Agricultural Science and Biology, Braduce had B3.

@LopezIyke_ said: “Well it’s still possible the owner gave it away by himself because I just carefully checked and there is no mathematics. Possibly an F. It’s very possible the owner has re written the exam with excellent grade in mathematics.
@XiiithJeph said: “Certificate is obviously useless. He had F9 in maths and that’s why maths is not recorded on the certificate.. F9 is not recorded on the original certificate 🌟
