In a surprising turn of events, a Nigerian lady has expressed her disappointment with the performance of her family’s security dog after it failed to fulfill its primary duty of safeguarding their residence.
The incident occurred when a suspected thief managed to breach the compound, only to find himself engaged in an unexpected and friendly interaction with the dog.
The lady, whose identity remains undisclosed, shared a video capturing the bewildering encounter between the alleged intruder and their security dog.
Instead of intimidating or chasing away the intruder, the dog seemed to develop an instant fondness for the trespasser.
The video depicts the dog playfully hovering around the individual, as if he were a familiar person or even a member of the family.
The astonishing scene unfolded as the suspected thief and the security dog indulged in what appeared to be a jovial play session.
After their friendly interaction, the man managed to make a swift exit from the premises by jumping over the fence.
Interestingly, the dog’s reaction seemed to convey a sense of longing or attachment to the departing intruder, leaving the family baffled by the perplexing behavior.
Expressing her disappointment and concern, the lady went on to advise other homeowners against placing excessive reliance on security dogs for their protection.
She emphasized the importance of seeking divine intervention and relying on prayers for safeguarding their homes, regardless of the presence of security animals.
She wrote;
“Someone broke into our house, and see how our dog is playing with him. Never think you are safe because you think you have a security dog. Just pray for God’s protection.”
