OAP Osi praises FG over cheap cost of studying medicine in Nigeria compared to UK and US

Nigerian On-Air Personality, OAP Osi has praised the Federal Government of Nigeria over cheap cost of studying medicine in the country.

He made this appraisal in a recent post he shared on his verified Twitter page today, June 23.

According to Osi, it amazes him how “the FG is able to maintain the standard” in the country’s medical schools with “cheap fees”.

The OAP who works with Beat FM went ahead to say that Nigerian medical degrees “can stand the test of time anywhere in the world”.

However, lots of Nigerians on Twitter disagreed with the OAP.

A particular user on the app schooled him, letting him know that most practical aspects of the profession are skipped in Nigerian medical schools thereby graduating lots of half-baked Medical Doctors.

“There is no standard here” the man insisted.
