A Nigerian tricycle rider sparked a conversation on social media by creating a list of rules such as ‘Don’t shout at me, no tap me, no pinch me, fone is #500,’ which he pasted inside his tricycle in a plastic sheet for passengers to see.

The accompanying video is captioned: ‘na small remain make I pay fine.’ In the video, the tricycle rider is already at his designated spot for conveying passengers to their destinations.

Unbeknownst to him, he was being recorded, and a passenger seated in the back noticed the rules posted inside the tricycle by the rider.

The tricycle rider’s rules state that customers must not shout at him, touch or pinch him, and should refrain from talking before reaching their destination. Failure to comply with these rules incurs a 500 naira fine.
