“No Nigerian needs more than 100k weekly” – Reno Omokri declares support for new CBN policy

Former presidential aide and lawyer, Reno Omokri stirs a reaction online after he revealed that no Nigerian needs more than 100k weekly.

Recall that the central bank of Nigeria recently passed a bill that comes January 2023, weekly withdrawals will be limited to #100,000 weekly.

Seconding this motion is Reno, who took to Twitter, where he opined that there is “no Nigerian that needs more than 100k cash weekly.”

Furthermore, he stated that other than paying for transportation, every other form of payment can be done online.

He, however, noted that it is “bandits and sexual bandits’ that are against the policy.

He wrote:

“There is no Nigerian that needs more than ₦100k cash weekly. Other than paying bus conductor or buying groceries, everything can be done cashless. It is kidnappers, bandits and sexual bandits (urgent 2k girls) who are fighting this policy using political godfathers “
