Nnamdi Kanu blasts judge during trial, accuses her of corruption

Nnamdi Kanu has blasted the judge in his trial, Binta Nyako, accusing her of being corrupt.

Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in a video shared by “The Cable,” was seen confronting the judge, accusing her of being recused.

He stated, “Justice Binta Nyako’s son and husband are facing corruption charges and she’s been told that if she convicts me, they will be let off. Poor knowledge of the law is killing Nigeria.

Justice Binta Nyako, is a judge of a federal high court in Abuja.

She has adjourned the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, indefinitely.

Nyako adjourned the suit on Monday following Kanu’s insistence that the judge cannot preside over his case since she had recused herself.

Kanu was brought into Nigeria in June 2021 and has since been detained and tried for alleged terrorism.
