Nigerians share their chilling ‘haunted house’ experience

Some Nigerians have taken to social media to share their terrifying haunted house encounters.

One netizen identified as Mr had spoken out about how folks are experiencing varied terrifying experiences in houses claimed to be haunted in Lagos.

@x1010010 said: “Nobody is talking about how in Lagos, you’ll think God has finally heard your prayers, you find a house of your taste to rent, good location, fair price, only to live there for your first month and discover its a HAUNTED HOUSE.”

Following his tweet, some netizens took to the comment section to share their own experiences.

One netizen, @khanofkhans11_ said: “I may not believe in many things, but I always believe about the house you stay in. Some houses are terrible. You’ll fight so many principalities. No be meme.”

@Mrlarde30 recounted: “Udo got this apartment in kola, towards ayobo if I’m not wrong, with his wife and child. The first night he slept, he said he was swanned by ants/termite in his dream. For one year he didn’t get any profit till he told a pastor about the dream and he was told to leave the crib”

@sugar_kunbss remarked: “That’s why you have to ask around when you want to rent. Ask random people about the house, landlord and people that stayed there before”

Another said: “Pray Before Moving into a New House Please pray before moving to a new house oh, it’s real oh. I moved to this house last year, and I’ve lost my job 3 times. The first time was the month I moved in, and I was out of a job for 7 months. I had to move out Of the house to get a new job. I got another job and returned to the house. The second month, I lost the job.

I was jobless till July. The one I got, I am yet to receive a salary because it’s a one-man business, and I have to bring in a deposit to earn a salary. Those who promised to fix the deposit turned their backs on me. It’s been hell since July. As a single dad, it’s been crazy. I’m holding on for my kids’ sake because I am super frustrated. I had to send my kids to their mother. please pray before moving to a new house Rent”

@Demion4rmChina wrote: “My course mate back in uni days, stayed in an apartment where during night time a spirit kind of form turns on their gas cooker and mess up their kitchen. Omo it wasn’t funny o and them be prayer warriors. They had to move out when they found out someone died there😪”
