Nigerians fume as victims of Lagos train crash get treatment outside hospital over limited space
Following the accident between a train and a BRT bus in Lagos State, Nigerians express mixed opinions following the treatment given to victims at a hospital.
Following the crash that happened on Thursday morning, victims were rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) where open space was utilized to receive them due to limited space.
Nigerians, however, emphasized the poor quality of the treatment given to the survivors of the crash where six victims were reported to have lost their lives.
“This is embarrassing! What is wrong with those ar LASUTH. Someone should be fired for this rubbish treatment. OMG! In Lagos? Unbelievable.🤦♂️,” a social media user wrote.

@6ixTus_XI: “See the lagos tinubu built, see the emergency system. What an infrastructure, i guess this is the best thing an economy that generates 5 billion monthly can get you.”
@AbiolaAdewonu: “For these comments condemning the health sector. All of you are crazy. Must you put politics in everything? Do you even what first aid means? They can be attended to at the spot of the accident. Do you even know what emergency units in general hospitals are like? Evil lots.”
@Odogwu_Nomso: “May you not rely in Nigeria when you have Emergency, when you say let’s build health care they will be arguing now look at the state of this. It’s not the Medical personnel fault it’s the system that is decayed.”
