“Nigeria which way now” — Tailor laments after generator doubles its price in few months
Tailor laments increasing cost of items in the country after a generator she wanted to purchase last year doubled its price this year.
The lady revealed she is a fashion designer who requires constant electricity to work but since that is not available she uses fuel powered generator as an alternative.
She had gone to the market last year to get one and was told the price was N185,000 but she couldn’t afford it then.
On getting to the market early this year to finally buy the same generator, she was told it is now worth N350,000.
She expressed her disappointment and frustration at the high price in such little time.
The tailor also claimed the seller advised her to buy it now because if she did not, the next time she came back to get it, it would have gotten more expensive.
