Neymar hails teammates after netting first goal since returning to Santos

Neymar Junior finally opened his goal account since returning to Santos, hailing his teammates after inspiring the side to a 3-1 win over Agua Santa on Sunday.

Recall the 33-year-old rejoined his boyhood club as a free agent after terminating his contract with Al-Hilal but had struggled to make an impact in his first three matches.

However, he found his rhythm against Agua Santa, winning and converting a penalty after a trademark slalom dribble.

He also provided an assist, setting up Guilherme for Santos’ third goal.

Following the match, Neymar took to Instagram, celebrating the victory: “A very important win… Congrats team!!! Let’s go SANTOS.”

With his confidence growing, Neymar is expected to feature again when Santos face EC Noroeste on Wednesday.
