NDLEA arrests Unilorin graduate, student for producing and selling drug-laced cupcakes

A fresh graduate of the University of Ilorin, Unilorin and a current student have been arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA for allegedly producing and selling drug-laced cupcakes to students.

The report surfaced on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), through a post by @InsideIlorin_NG.

The post read: “A fresh graduate, Khadijat Abdulraheem, and a student of @UnilorinNGR, Ayomide Morakinyo, were on December 29, 2024, arrested by @ndlea_nigeria operatives at Oke-Odo, Ilorin, for producing and selling drug-laced cupcakes to students.” included photos of the suspects.

Further details revealed that the illegal substance was discovered during a search of their apartment, where 42 pieces of drug-laced cupcakes were recovered.
