Israel, seeking redemption after a 3-1 defeat to Belgium, made adjustments of their own, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Italians.

Frattesi opened the scoring in the 37th minute, chesting in a cross from Federico Dimarco.

Frattesi is now Italy’s top scorer under coach Luciano Spalletti.

Israel threatened to equalize, but were stopped by a strong Italy’s defensive side.

However, Israel pulled one back late in the match through Mohammad Abu Fani, but Italy held on for the win.
