Napoli left with only Garnacho option after Adeyemi rejects move
Napoli’s search for a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has suffered a setback after Karim Adeyemi decided to stay at Borussia Dortmund for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
The Italian club had been negotiating a potential €40m move for the German winger, but reports from Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano confirm that Adeyemi has opted against a January switch.
The reports suggest the Nigerian-born prefer to remain at Signal Iduna Park.
Premier League clubs had also shown interest, but the 22-year-old will now reassess his future in the summer.
With Adeyemi out of the picture, Napoli’s focus shifts solely to Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho as their main target.
Talks between the Partenopei and United are ongoing, but no agreement has been reached yet.
