“Na wa” – Reactions trail Davido’s comment on the ongoing tribunal judgement

Massive reactions have trailed Davido’s comment on the ongoing tribunal judgement for the 2023 general elections.

The ongoing Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) is set to deliver its final verdict today.

Nigerians from all walks of life have been waiting patiently to witness the televised live proceedings from the Tribunal venue at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) are challenging President Bola Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the 2023 presidential election.

The ongoing proceedings has however raised eyebrows as some netizens opined that it wasn’t going in line with their expected outcome of events.

While netizens share their thoughts, ace Nigerian singer, Davido, has joined a host of others to share his feelings about the tribunal.

In a short tweet shared via his official account, Davido expressed his disapproval over the situation while noting that a divided house cannot stand.

In his words: “Na wa. A divided house cannot stand. Everybody long throat. Well.”

AfroKonect reacted: “The phrase “A divided house cannot stand” means that unity and cooperation are essential for a group or family to thrive. Everybody long throat” suggests that when people are too focused on their individual desires or greed, it can lead to division and downfall.”

My_brother_andI said: “I doubt this country will ever get better. We are just too divided.”

Gbadebo added: “All eyes on the Judiciary. Who will save this country now?”
