“My son is the crown prince” – Ooni’s 4th wife, Olori Ashley

Olori Ashley Folashade, one of the wives of Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, has revealed that her son is crown prince of the palace.

In a recent video which she shared on her Instagram page, she showed her pregnancy journey and the birth of her baby boy.

She said that her son is a prince of the ruling family of Lafogido from his mother’s side and a prince of Ooni Agbedegbede’s royal compound from his father’s side of Giesi.

Olori Ashley stated that the Oduduwa royal throne at Ile-Ife is a result of the union of the two houses.

She wrote:

“Oba tón gbọ ekún aládúrà, ese Olódùmarè. Thank you olodumare for an amazing pregnancy journey which was very sacred for my husband and I, which was successfully kept away from society space to the glory of Olodumare. To my ever loving supportive husband who has stood by me throughout this journey, in every step of the way, from start to finish with daily prayers @ooniadimulaife you are my world, my CROWN JEWEL, Erujeje Adimula Oko Mi, Ikoyi Esho Mi.”
