“My prayers are with you” – Elsie Okpocha comforts AY and Mabel Makun amid beef with Basketmouth

Elsie Okpocha, the estranged wife of veteran comedian Basketmouth, extends words of comfort to AY and Mabel Makun after their home got destroyed in a fire accident.

Gistreel recalls that the couple’s Lagos home was gutted by fire on Sunday, damaging properties worth millions of naira.

Fans and colleagues took to social media to express words of comfort and encouragement to the celebrity couple following their loss.

In a recent post, AY Makun expressed his appreciation to his wife and those who sympathized with them during their trying time, noting that pain can be a temporary feeling when one has the right support system.

AY wrote …

“Pain can be temporary when you find yourself with the right partner to journey with. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place.

As we continue to walk through the journey of life together, we shall replace the lies of the enemies with the truth of God. One thing we know for sure is that God never takes away something from your life without replacing it with something better

Elsie Okpocha, whose estranged husband has a long-standing beef with AY, expressed that her prayer and thoughts are with the couple.
