“My parents were happy to have me back” — Dabota Lawson on failed marriage
Former beauty queen and entrepreneur, Dabota Lawson, opens up on her failed marriage to billionaire Prince Sunny Aku and her parents’ impact.
During an interview on TVC’s ‘Your View’, Dabota revealed that her parents were supportive and didn’t inquire about her broken marriage despite the internet buzz.
She explained that they didn’t want to burden her with questions and chose to respect her space.
Furthermore, Dabota stated that her ex-husband reached out to her, acknowledged his faults, and offered an apology. However, she had moved on from that phase of her life and is no longer emotionally invested in their past relationship.
It’s worth noting that Dabota Lawson’s highly publicized wedding to Prince Sunny Aku was the talk of the town. Unfortunately, the marriage ended in separation within a year, specifically in 2015.
