“My mum pressured me to marry Will Smith because…” – Jada Pinkett reveals

Jada Pinkett Smith, an American actress and talk show host, has admitted that she never wanted to marry Will Smith.

The celebrity couple married in the Cloisters Castle in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1997.

Pinkett Smith, however, revealed on her talk show, Red Table Talk, that she never meant to marry Smith and that her mother coerced her into the marriage because she became pregnant.

“I was so upset that I had to have a wedding,” she explained. I was furious. I was in tears. I sobbed during the wedding.

“I really didn’t want to get married. I was under so much pressure being a young actress and pregnant. I didn’t know what to do. But I knew I never wanted to be married.

“The wedding was horrible. I was three-month pregnant at the wedding.”
