“My daughter is ripe, you’ll like her” – Doctor left dumbfounded as patient tries to matchmake him with her daughter during hospital visit

A Nigerian doctor identified as Dr. Obie found himself in an unexpected situation when a woman who happens to be a patient attempted to play matchmaker and connect him with her daughter.

The incident, which left the doctor utterly surprised, unfolded during a routine conversation with the woman while she was at the hospital.

According to Dr. Obie’s account of the incident, the woman inquired about his marital status and, upon learning that he was not married, she swiftly shifted the conversation towards her daughter.

With apparent enthusiasm, the woman informed the doctor that her daughter, named Ufoma, was “ripe and ready for marriage.”

Perplexed by the sudden turn of events, Dr. Obie attempted to understand the situation better and asked if Ufoma was a patient at the hospital.

However, the woman was quick to clarify that her daughter was not a patient, seemingly ruling out any medical context for her visit.

Ignoring the doctor’s attempt to redirect the conversation, the woman promptly placed a call to her daughter, Ufoma, instructing her to come to the hospital immediately and wear a specific green-colored dress.

The doctor was left astounded by the seamless transition from discussing his marital status to arranging a potential meeting with her daughter.

Dr Obie wrote;

P: Doctor where’s ur wedding ring

Me: I’m actually not married ma. So what brin-

P: Have u met my daughter?

Me: Is she a patient here?

P: God forbid. She’s very ripe o You’ll like her

Me: Madam i-

P: (on phone) Ufoma, wear that your green dress and come to the hospital now now
