“My biological father pushed me down the stairs” – Venita speaks about abuse
Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate Venita Akpofure has revealed how her biological father pushed her down the stairs.
According to Venita, she had experienced physical abuse from both her husband, Terna Tarka, and her father, Mr. Akpofure.
The mother of two made this disclosure while conversing with her love interest, Adekunle, in Biggie’s backyard, the mother of two made the discovery.
Venita alleged that her father used to push her down the stairs and hit her with hard, sharp objects. According to her, he allegedly kept her outside of the house for more than three hours.
She, however, added that during her introduction, he got drunk and gave a speech about how he often thought about apologizing to her for being abusive.
According to the reality TV star, her father was strict and might have believed he was correcting her, but in his speech at her wedding, he acknowledged that only she out of all his children had ever been physically abused.
