Mourinho secures En-Nesyri, beating former club Roma to Moroccan star

Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce have secured the signing of Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla, beating out interest from his former club Roma.

The Moroccan international was high on Roma’s list of attacking targets but will now continue his career in Turkey.

Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto reported that the 27-year-old centre-forward is set to undergo medical tests with Fenerbahce.

According to Moretto’s update on X, En-Nesyri will travel to Turkey today to finalize the move.

 

Fabrizio Romano also confirmed that Fenerbahce will pay over €20 million for the Moroccan striker.

En-Nesyri was a priority for Roma, but negotiations with Sevilla failed to yield an agreement.
