Mohbad’s mother fights as Yomi Fabiyi accuses brother of demanding ₦3M
Nigerian actor Yomi Fabiyi has made a startling claim against Adura Aloba, the younger brother of late singer Mohbad, alleging the requested ₦3 million in exchange for a video allegedly showing a confrontation between the singer and his wife.
Fabiyi made the allegation during a recent World Press Conference focused on seeking justice for Mohbad, who passed away on September 12, 2023.
According to the actor, Adura reached out to him via direct messages to offer the controversial video.
Fabiyi recounted, “Adura Aloba, Mohbad’s younger brother, sent me a DM after listening to me for a while and reacting in the comment section.
“When he realised that I didn’t see the DM in time, he asked me to check my DM, and lo and behold, he offered to give me a video of a fight between the late singer Mohbad and his wife for ₦3 million.
He shared a 3-seconds video and there was a violent argument in the video in the background. I probed further for a longer video and uncensored images but the conversation got stuck at that point.”
The claim sparked immediate backlash during the conference, with Mohbad’s mother interrupting Fabiyi. She strongly condemned him for what she described as attacking remarks about her only surviving son.
The actor, however, assured Mohbad’s mother of protecting his surviving son, Adura to get justice for the late singer, Mohbad.
Mohbad’s tragic death has continued to draw attention, with calls for thorough investigations into the circumstances surrounding it. Fabiyi’s allegations add another layer to the ongoing discourse, raising concerns about family dynamics and transparency in the fight for justice.
