Inter Miami are reportedly planning a major transfer move for former Manchester United and Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
Varane, 31, recently left Manchester United after his contract expired, making him a free agent at present.
According to The Mirror, Inter Miami owner David Beckham is keen on adding Varane to his roster of high-profile signings, which already has Barcelona legends Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Jordi Alba.
The Major League Soccer side (MLS) are also linked with moves for Sergio Ramos and Sergi Roberto.
Varane, a veteran center-back, boasts an impressive resume, having had a successful stint in Europe.
During his 10 years at Real Madrid, he won three LaLiga titles, four Champions Leagues, among other trophies, including a World Cup with France in 2018.
After joining Manchester United in 2021, Varane added a Carabao Cup and FA Cup to his accolades but struggled with injuries, starting just 16 Premier League games in the 2023/24 season.
