Milan reportedly eyeing summer move for Napoli captain Di Lorenzo
AC Milan are reportedly considering a move for Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Di Lorenzo, 30, has faced criticism from fans recently due to the team’s disappointing performances within a year of wining the Scudetto.
The agent of the Italian right back, Mario Giuffredi, addressed the challenges his client has faced, stating, “People have short memories,” Football Italia reported.
Giuffredi also hinted that they will evaluate their options in June, which has been interpreted to mean a possible exit from Napoli.
Milan’s interest in Di Lorenzo goes side by side with rumours of the club potentially replacing their current coach, Stefano Pioli, with Antonio Conte.
However, Napoli are said to be indifferent about losing Di Lorenzo at this point, even though the player is under contract with the club until June 2028, and earning a salary of €3 million net per season.
