Michael Jackson tops Forbes’ list of highest-paid dead celebrities in 2023

The “King of Pop,” late American musician Michael Jackson, is currently the highest-paid deceased celebrity in the world as of 2023.

With an estimated $115 million in earnings, he was dubbed the highest-paid deceased celebrity on Forbes magazine’s 2023 annual list, which was made public on Tuesday.

Jackson hasn’t occupied the top rank in the last four years.

Second place went to Jackson’s late father-in-law, Elvis Presley, whose estimated net worth was $100 million.

The top 13 deceased celebs list also includes Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Prince, and John Lennon.

An approximate $470 million was earned by the deceased celebrities in the previous year. 70 percent less than in 2022.

Based on their pretax sales and licencing earnings, they were rated as other sources of income between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023.
