Popular actress, Merit Gold has stirred controversy online as she asserts that a woman helping her family without her husband’s consent is a form of cheating in marriage.

The movie star took to her Instagram page to make this assertion known, while noting that cheating doesn’t extend to extramarital affairs.

According to the light-skinned actress it would be a form of cheating when the lady secretly assists her family with money without her husband knowing.

She stated that this is more so if the husband had paid her bride price in full.

“Assisting your family secretly without your husband consent is also cheating in marriage if he paid your bride price in full.”
