Meet COOU’s best graduating student with 4.93 CGPA
With a 4.93 CGPA, Ozoh Wendy emerges as the Best Graduating Student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) for the 2024 academic year.
During the university’s convocation ceremony at the Uli campus, Wendy was celebrated for her remarkable academic achievement, having graduated with a first-class degree in Microbiology.
Wendy, who maintained a near-perfect cumulative grade point average (CGPA), attributed her success to hard work, determination, and support from her family and lecturers.
In her valedictory speech, she expressed gratitude to her mentors and fellow students, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and resilience in achieving academic excellence.
The Vice-Chancellor of COOU, Professor Greg Nwakoby, praised Wendy’s achievements and highlighted her as a role model for future students.
As part of her recognition, Ozo Wendy received several awards, including a cash prize, scholarship opportunities for further studies, and a special commendation from the university.
Taking to her social media page to celebrate her milestone, Wendy described her academic excellence as the result of God’s support.
“With a cgpa of 4.93, I emerged as the Best graduating student (BGS) of the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State. It wasn’t easy but God stood by me and made this possible🥺🥰❤,” she wrote.
