Caen finished sixth in Ligue 2 last season, and their notable former players include Mbappe’s France teammate N’Golo Kante and former French defender William Gallas.

Established in 1913, Caen are two-time Ligue 2 champions. They will kick off the new season by hosting Paris FC on August 17.
