A Nigerian lady has captured the attention of many online after sharing her inspiring journey of transforming a dilapidated shop she rented into a chic studio in Lagos.
The makeup artist @kikismakeover_, took to her TikTok page to recount her challenging three-month search for a suitable shop space in the city of Lagos.
Faced with the unavailability of rented spaces and rising rental costs, she was eventually compelled to settle for a less-than-desirable shop.
Not to be deterred by the shop’s rough appearance, she embarked on a renovation project to transform the space into a befitting studio for her business.
The transformation was nothing short of remarkable. @kikismakeover_ shared a captivating video showcasing the dramatic makeover of the shop.
The once almost-falling ceiling was replaced with a sleek POP design, and the entire space was given a fresh coat of paint.
Furthermore, she invested in creating partitions using blocks, optimizing the space for her makeup business.
The video of the shop’s transformation quickly went viral, eliciting a flood of reactions from impressed netizens.
Many were left wondering whether the makeup artist had sought permission or had an agreement with her landlord prior to undertaking the extensive renovations.
