Mason Greenwood agrees to Juventus move

Mason Greenwood has reportedly agreed to join Juventus, with the Italian club expected to finalize the transfer from Manchester United in the coming weeks.

The 22-year-old forward spent the past season on loan at Getafe, scoring 10 goals in 36 appearances, marking a successful return to football after a 20-month absence.

Manchester United have set a £40 million price tag on Greenwood, making a permanent stay at Getafe unlikely.

The player has garnered interest from several top European clubs, including Napoli, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid.

However, Juventus appear to be leading the race for his signature.

Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juventus has reached an agreement with Greenwood and is eager to offer him the chance to play Champions League football.

The deal is contingent on Juventus balancing their finances, which includes offloading players like Federico Chiesa and Matias Soule before committing to the £40 million fee for Greenwood.

Greenwood’s contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2025.
