A young Nigerian woman who married her husband in his family house narrates the struggles and limitations of sharing the same roof with her father and mother-in-law.
The lady identified as @aproko_manager1 on the TikTok platform shared what it feels like to live in a family house as a married woman.
According to the woman, there are several challenges faced particularly privacy under the watch of her inlaws. She revealed that stepping out of the house triggers questions from her in-laws.
She highlighted how the meals she cooks for her husband are monitored especially if he’s out of the house, she cannot cook anything exotic for herself.
The lady added the space limitation in her husband’s family house as they are only allocated a single room while their loads are stuffed in the living room.
Her post has since sparked a wave of reactions from other users who condemned living under such conditions.
