Facebook’s co-founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has attained the rank of blue belt in jiu-jitsu as he reportedly continues to prepare for a potential fight with his billionaire social media rival, Twitter CEO Elon Musk.
Over the weekend, the 39-year-old tech mogul took to his Instagram platform to share his jiu-jitsu achievement with his followers.
The photos displayed Zuckerberg proudly posing with his newly received blue belt certificate, which was presented to him by his colleagues.
The Meta boss also took the opportunity to congratulate his jiu-jitsu coach, Dave Camarillo, on reaching the esteemed rank of 5th-degree black belt.
In his Instagram post, Zuckerberg expressed his admiration for Coach Camarillo, highlighting the valuable life lessons he has learned from their training sessions together.
He wrote;
“Congrats @davecamarillo on your 5th degree black belt. You’re a great coach and I’ve learned so much about fighting and life from training with you. Also honored to be promoted to compete at blue belt for @guerrillajjsanjose team.”
While the promotion of Zuckerberg to the blue belt level indicates significant progress in his martial arts journey, it has sparked further speculation about the long-anticipated showdown between Zuckerberg and his rival Elon Musk.
