Man tackles neighbour who locked his tap with padlock to stop neighbours from fetching water

A Nigerian man has shared his experience with a neighbour who locked the free tap he created outside the fence for neighbours.

According to him, the lady who had never spoken to him before said she thought the tap should be regulated for those coming to use it.

The man got angry about her bold move as he mentioned that she had never spoken to him in the compound prior to then. He went ahead to instruct her never to lock the tap.

In his words:

“I created a tap outside the fence for neighbors to fetch water. On the first day, a neighbor bought padlock to lock the tap. She claimed that she thought it should be regulated. Mind you, she had never spoken to me or anyone in the hse before. Instructed her to remove the padlock.”
