Man shocked as Mbaise traditional marriage list amounts to ₦1 million

Giving out your daughter to another family could be very difficult for parents. This could be the reason why some families give the groom-to-be unusual list of things to give the family as a bride price.

We came across the shocking list after it was shared on social media by a relative of the groom-to-be. The relative identified by his Twitter handle as Sam Hart shared photos of the long list.

Sam Hart who revealed that the bride is from Mbaise in Imo State noted that the list of demands amount to ₦1,000,000.

In the photos, it could be seen that the list is three papers long and groom-to-be is expected to give the family a range of things.

“A relative is planning his traditional marriage this Christmas. He went to get the ‘list’ today. We’ve done the maths. He needs N1M to return this list. Nde Mbaise una well done o.”, he tweeted.
