Man shares how he became stranded after friend who invited him to Dubai switched off his phone upon arrival

A man identified as Otunba has recounted how he became stranded in Dubai after his friend who invited him switched off his phone.

According to the man his friend, who was already in the UAE, Dubai, told him there was money in the country hence he should come join him there.

As a result, he decided to relocate to Dubai and live like his friend. He had hoped to squat with his friend for the time being, but this proved to be a mistake.

When Otunba landed in the UAE and contacted his friend’s phone at the airport, he claimed the friend had ghosted him.

He said his friend’s phone had been turned off, leaving him stuck on the streets with nowhere to sleep. He claimed he was lucky to have another friend, but things were not easy due to the earlier disappointment.
