Man seeks advice as 36-year-old father’s wife confesses feelings, writes him a love letter
A 30-year-old Nigerian man has sparked widespread reactions online after revealing that his father’s 36-year-old wife, a mother of two, has confessed her romantic feelings for him and even written him a love letter.
This revelation was made in an anonymous post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, where the man sought advice on the unusual situation.
In his statement, the man disclosed that he is financially independent, working in the mining sector, and earns a decent income.
He also shared that his father passed away eight years ago, leaving behind two wives, with his mother being the first.
The younger wife, now 36 years old, has allegedly been harboring feelings for him for over three years.
He recounted: “Good day, Great One. I lost my dad 8 years ago. He had two wives, with my mum as the senior. I work in the mining sector and earn a decent amount. I’m 30, while my dad’s junior wife is 36 with two kids (she lost one due to illness). Over three years ago, she casually told me she was developing feelings for me and felt I should know. I didn’t take it seriously at the time.”
“To cut everything short, on my birthday in March, she sent me a present, as she usually does every year, but this time it came with a letter. In the letter, she wrote that she’s dying inside because she can no longer control her feelings for me.”
