A Nigerian man tragically lost his son after being unable to afford a ₦25,000 medical bill, only to later discover that his wife had ₦3.6 million in her account.
The heartbreaking incident was shared on X, formerly Twitter, by a user identified as @dkkcaramell, who claimed it happened to his neighbor.
According to the post, the grieving father divorced his wife after finding a bank alert confirming her hidden savings, despite their child’s death due to financial constraints.
“Husband divorce his wife after finding an alert of ₦3.6m and their only son died in the hospital because of 25000.”
“To everyone saying this can’t be true, it actually happened to my neighbor. And by the way, he’s currently single,” the user wrote.
