Man joyful following purchase of first home in UK, recounts struggle in Nigeria

An abroad-based Nigerian man recounts the days of humble beginning when he could not afford rent and squatted with friends as he purchased his first home in the UK.

A social media user identified as @steezy10_ took to the microblogging platform, X to celebrate a milestone as he becomes a homeowner in the UK.

According to the cybersecurity expert, he used to live with friends back in his home country until he learnt a tech skill which opened doors for him to relocate abroad.

Sharing a throwback photo from when he was in Nigeria alongside his newly acquired home in the UK, the young man expressed gratitude to God.

“Back then in Nigeria I was squatting with friends while learning a tech skill just so I could better my life, fast forward to this day I’M NOW A HOME OWNER! God did,” he captioned the post.
