Man in tears as he loses €3K German job over internet disruptions

A young man working for a German company as a remote staff has lost his job due to the internet disruptions hit by some African countries.

Recall that some African countries have been hit by a major internet disruptions for three days after some international cables under sea were allegedly damaged.

It may seem as the internet issues have gotten a toll on some remote workers as a young man who would have earn £3,640 as a monthly salary as lost his German job.

The man who was working for a German company disclosed to his friend in a chat that the Human Resource laid him off after he was unable to resolve an issue he was asked to.

In the conversation with his friend, he disclosed that he was on 12 weeks probation but has only done 6 weeks until the internet challenges occurred days ago.

Sharing the chat on his wall, the friend of the man captioned it “The internet outage in Ghana has cost a professional colleague. He’s working for a German company from Ghana as their <withheld to protect his identity>. He started less than two months ago and still on probation. His contract got canceled today.

I can imagine what’s happening to other remote workers in Ghana. Slow slow slow!!!
