Man disposes flash drive containing $800 million Bitcoin
A Bitcoin miner, James Howsell, recounts devastating experience of accidentally disposing of a flash drive containing access to $800 million Bitcoin wallet.
In a recent interview, James Howsell admitted that he unknowingly discarded the flash drive in a waste bin, despite having second thoughts.
He described disposing of the flash drive as his first experience, stating that the device contained a crucial file needed to access the Bitcoin wallet.
Furthermore, James Howsell revealed that he has made every effort to retrieve the flash drive, but was informed the recovery prospects are dim.
“There is a specific file stored on the hard drive, without the file, there is no way of getting the Bitcoin back “,He added.
