Man calls out lady he met on IG for allegedly ‘scamming’ him after linking up physically

Nigerian man calls out a lady he met on Instagram as he accuses her of scamming him after they linked up in person.

The man known as Benkingsley Nwashara took to his X page to make the accusation as he shared photos of the lady who had allegedly scammed him.

According to his narration of events, he stated that he had helped the lady on Instagram, but she kept insisting that they should meet physically.

He stated that he obliged her after getting almost 20 calls from her.

Benkingsley Nwashara said that they had met at a bar during which she had received a call, and asked him for N5800 to receive her goods from a dispatch rider, promising to return in minutes.

He said that he had given her the money, but waited endlessly for her to return.

Realizing what had happened, he later left the restaurant and took to his X page to call her out.

In a series of post on his page, he shared her photos, warning folks to beware.

Surprisingly, some netizens have confessed that she had allegedly also done the same to them.

“A lady I helped on IG on Monday kept chatting me up that she needs to see me physically. It was weird. She called over 20times

I obliged her today & we agreed to meet at a bar.

We met, I bought her a drink and we started conversing. I Was eager to hear what she’s got to say.

Midway into the conversation she answered a call (though her phone didn’t ring) and asked me if I could send her N5800 to pick up her goods from the dispatch rider that is waiting for her somewhere.

She told me she’s coming back immediately…

And that she would give me back the money before we leave the bar. I sent it. Also gave her 1500 cash as she requested to pay the rider.

She was suppose to be back after 5mins

I sat there for like 1hr30mins sipping my drink and waiting.

She never returned. Her phone turned off

I’ve sent her a message that after 24hrs if I didn’t get my money back, she would be very popular online.

I’ve sent my account details to her.

Now she’s calling incessantly.

I have about 20 of her pictures.”
