Man call on Davido to reward him after he found his oga’s N500 and ‘returned it’

Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has been called upon by a Nigerian man to reward him with $500,000 after he allegedly found and returned N500 in his employer’s clothes.

The appeal came in the wake of Davido’s recent generous act of gifting $10,000 to Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, a staff member of Eko Hotels, who returned a misplaced sum of $70,000.

The man with Twitter handle @alhajinuell,  shared his story on the social media platform.

According to his account, while washing clothes for his employer, he stumbled upon a 500 Naira note in the clothing and promptly returned it.

Drawing a comparison to the recent incident at Eko Hotels involving Ngozi Mary, he asserted that he deserved a substantial reward for his honest actions and urged Davido to consider gifting him $500,000.

The incident at Eko Hotels involved Ngozi Mary, a diligent staff member who discovered a misplaced bag containing a substantial sum of $70,000 in one of the hotel’s suites. Displaying integrity and transparency, she immediately reported the discovery to the hotel management. In recognition of her honesty, Davido, known for his philanthropy, took to Twitter and publicly announced his willingness to give $10,000 to Ngozi Mary as a reward for her exemplary behavior. He also urged his followers to help locate her.

“Find her for me … I donate $10k,” Davido wrote.

In response to @alhajinuell’s plea for a substantial reward.

He wrote;.

“Hello @Davido I saw this 500 naira when washing for my oga and I returned it, $500k no go bad Shaa…001 baddest tule joor!!!!”
