Lyta  Early Life

Despite being a native of Kwara State in Southwest Nigeria, Opeyemi Babatunde Rahim, better known by his stage name Lytal, grew up in the well-known city of Ajegunle Lagos State. Ile Kewu, a local Kwara state mosque music ensemble, was one that Lyta belonged to.

Lyta used his Instagram account to inform his followers that he is from a low-income family and to share a photo of himself and his mother, who is blind. Lyta’s parents live in the Nigerian state of Ajegunle.

Lyta completed his primary and high school education in Ajegunle, Lagos State, where he grew up. His postsecondary education is still undocumented.

Lyta Career

Lyta, a musician, began his career at the age of 13 in the little village of Lagos Ajegunle.

He was spotted playing at a lot of shows and doing several freestyles before the song “Time” was released.

Olamide, one of the stage energizers for one of his gigs, phoned him while he was travelling. Olamide was so moved by the song “Time” that he immediately looked up the artist’s contact details.

He claimed he didn’t believe it because his heyday was just getting started, according to Lyta.

Lyta received a call from YBNL, who told him that the remix of his song “Time” will feature his verse.

Olamide announced on his Instagram page on February 15, 2018, that Lyta and Limerick had joined YBNL Nation immediately after the phone call.

Olamide began working on a remix of “Time” right away, which served as his main entry point into the Nigerian entertainment industry.

While signed to the YBNL label, Lyta recorded a variety of songs and freestyles, including the “Time” remix with Junior Boy, which was well received by the public.

Lyta left YBNL in 2019 because his father had a bigger sponsor, which would have aided his development.

Personal Life

Kemi Ayorinde is Lyta’s baby mama. Kemi is in a relationship with Lyta, and they had a minor disagreement that led to their divorce. Lyta accused her of not caring for him and his baby, and she even mentioned that the singer couldn’t afford N13,000  for balloons for their son’s birthday, and it was later settled that both gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
