Lecturer punishes female student for laughing in class, makes her write ‘I am sorry, Miss Moyin’ in notebook
A private university lecturer reportedly punished a female student for laughing in class by making her repeatedly write, “I am sorry, Miss Moyin,” in a notebook.
The incident surfaced on TikTok, where the student shared her experience. She explained that after laughing during a lecture, the lecturer assigned her the task as a form of discipline.
Responding to comments, she clarified that she is a mass communication student and that the situation was not a joke.
She reiterated that the lecturer instructed her to write an apology letter solely for laughing in class.
A portion of the letter reads: “Apology to Miss Moyin. I am very sorry, Miss, for disrupting your class.”
She then continued writing “I am sorry” across multiple lines until she filled the notebook.
