Late Alaafin’s wife, Queen Dami hunts for love, mocked by Lege (Video)

Self-acclaimed matchmaker, Lege Miami ridicules Queen Dami, one of the estranged wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo, for seeking love.

Queen Dami had joined Lege Miami’s dating live session, where he matches singles with the hope of getting matched with an interested man.

True to form, Lege mocked her for searching for a husband while wearing modest clothing. When introducing her to the audience, he made disrespectful comments about her desperate search for a husband and her choice of attire.

The controversial actor went as far as demanding that the estranged queen wear revealing outfits and speak in English. He insisted that she speak English, even if she struggled, during the video.

“You’re looking for a husband, you’re putting on Abaya. Speak in English, even me myself I am forcing myself, so speak it how you understand,” Lege said to Dami on the live session.

It is worth noting that Queen Damilola’s marriage to the late monarch ended after she was locked up for allegedly violating a palace rule, which led her to leave her marriage and flee to Lagos in April 2021.

After her release, Queen Damilola posted an apology on her Instagram page on October 31st, 2021, expressing regret for her actions and acknowledging that frustration and misguided friends had influenced her decision to leave the palace.

She admitted that she now realizes certain things were not clear to her and apologized for tarnishing the reputation of the royal family. Queen Damilola pleaded with the Alaafin of Oyo for forgiveness and to be allowed back into the palace.

Despite her public apology, the Alaafin of Oyo rejected her and refused to readmit her to the palace.
